The HBS: Symphony Interventions

During one of the busiest times on the sports calendar, Mike “the Buzz-saw” Asti and George “the Howitzer” Gerbo rely on their outlet to unload on all the controversies, news, and asininity. The Howitzer has been jinxing teams with his prediction curse for far too long. Mike feels it is his duty to sit down his co-host and have an intervention of sorts. This injustice can’t go on any further! After George finishes getting buzz-sawed, the real show can begin.

October means one only thing in baseball: playoffs! With the Divisional Series now underway, your favorite sports geniuses discuss if anyone can beat the powerhouse that has become the Detroit Tigers? Who will prevail in a battle between paper champions (Yankees) and a group of misfits (Orioles)? Despite playing well in the NLDS, can Cincinnati go all the way without their ace? And will St. Louis surprise everyone AGAIN with another deep playoff run? The conversation won’t stop with just those questions. It never does on the HBS.

Week 5 of the second annual HBS NFL Pick’em Challenge is now in the books. But before getting to the week 6 picks, the Buzz-saw has some strong opinions on topics such as: Drew Brees’ standing among the all-time great quarterbacks after setting yet another historic record, Kansas City booing injuries….to their own players, and Terrell Owens begging for a job. All this and more on a symphony of sports talk. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show is like music to the ears and conquers sports radio, one day, at a time….
