Dwight Howard Skips Basketball Camp, Now Kids Hate Him Too

I think Dwight Howard wants to be the world’s most hated man. He was already the NBA’s most hated player, but now he has found a way to make kids hate him too.

According to an official at his annual basketball day camp for children, Dwight Howard will not attend this year, and families who paid the camp’s $199 registration fee were sent e-mail messages Monday to inform them Howard will remain in Southern California in order to continue rehabilitating his back.

I think it’s funny that Dwight can make appearances at Dodgers games, but can’t take time out of his schedule for kids who paid money to see him. Dwight did have a solution: send Magic first round pick Andrew Nicholson instead. He also is giving every camper an autograph, a ticket to a Magic game and an Adidas gift bag. So congrats Dwight, you’re that dad who misses his kids birthday, so he buy’s him a really expensive gift hoping that will fix everything.
