The puck dropping on the second tenure of the Winnipeg Jets is quickly approaching. First, the news of the NHL returning to Winnipeg, Alberta, Canada became official. Second, the fans went nuts and celebrated, as if they re-discovered a long-lost relative. Next, the reunification of the city with its team truly became real – the moniker of “Jets” remained the slogan for the franchise. Finally, the logos were revealed. Now, the last piece to the puzzle fell into place, the jerseys are here! How the players look tends to mean a great deal when it comes to giving off the right impression to your opponents and marketing the teams image. No one will fear a squad dressed like they just walked out of “Joseph and The Amazing Techicolor Dream Coat.” These threads provide a professional, modern, and simple look that keeps with tradition while incorporating a sense of the current era. With all this said, nothing matters until these “Jets” prove themselves together ON the ice.
